I graduated in 1941.  I entered the Army in 1943 and served in Germany with the 78th Infantry Division.  I was awarded two purple hearts and a bronze star and was discharged as a Sgt. on 12/31/45.  I attended college at Kansas State and graduated in Jan., 1950 with a BS in mechanical engineering.  I spent 37 years in the mechanical contracting business and owned my own company for the last 21 years.  My wife was in the business with me and we retired in 1986 and moved to our present address near Willis Texas about 50 miles from Houston.
